John’s impact can be seen across campus through his leadership in key web projects that enhance the university’s online presence. His work on the Gato site launch process and continued development of Dos Gato has strengthened the tools that departments rely on every day.
Recently, John took the lead as project manager for the new Calico Timeline template, which debuted on the 125th Anniversary website. From coordinating testing and managing the project board to validating performance across devices and browsers, John ensured every detail was handled with precision. The result? A seamless, visually engaging experience that Gato users are now requesting for their own sites.
Beyond the template, John also spearheaded the site review process for the 125th Anniversary website, keeping the project on track through clear communication and swift collaboration with the Division of Marketing and Communication. Thanks to his dedication, the site launched on time and without a hitch, which is no small feat for a project of its scale.
John’s professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills have made him an invaluable part of the team. His work continues to elevate the quality of Texas State’s web experience for all Bobcats.
