On February 23, a caravan of Bobcats headed west on Old Ranch Road 12 and joined us in “the loft” of Roughhouse Brewing for a long-anticipated Faculty and Staff trivia night.
The sounds of laughter and groovy music mixed with the smell of tacos, pretzels, and queso made for a relaxing night of mingling and friendly competition. Here’s how it went.
Guests from various departments across campus joined forces with their colleagues and loved ones to come up with clever team names such as:

“The Ivy Leagues”

“The Notorious R.E.C.”

“The Librarians”
just to name a few. Participants put their heads together as Quizmaster Austin Allen (from The Graduate College) serenaded us with witty puns that kept us on the edge of our seats through 6 rounds of questions. Categories ranged from “Pup Culture” and Disney movie songs to U.S. history and astrophysics (which led to lots of head-scratching).
The winning team? The Ivy Leagues, from the Communications Studies department!
