Janet Johnson, Administrative Assistant III for the College of Health Professions, was selected as the November 2022 Employee of the Month.
Janet Johnson provides administrative support to the Dean, Chairs/Directors, and other administrative assistants in the College of Health Professions. Janet is always willing to train new staff by sharing her vast knowledge of university processes and procedures, including purchasing, travel, GATO website management, PCRs, and more. Amongst her team, she’s known as the person who can handle any issue that comes up. She routinely goes out of her way to ensure the Dean and the entire college is taken care of and set up for success.
Over the last year, there have been many changes in the College of Health Professions with half of the Dean’s staff moving to the Round Rock Campus. However, Janet has worked tirelessly with her team to ensure all office processes continued smoothly through the transition of personnel. Even with the Dean working on two campuses and not always available, Janet has taken on the role of the “middle person” whom her team can rely on to get things done. She is a selfless team player and a key asset to the College of Health Professions’ success.
Thank you, Janet, for your hard work and dedication. Congratulations on being selected as the November Employee of the Month!
