We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our exceptional team members, Eric Leath, who serves as the Safety Specialist at the Texas School Safety Center. Eric Leath is celebrated for his steadfast dedication and invaluable contributions. He consistently excels in delivering vital resources to our community, prioritizing safety and preparedness above all else.

Eric’s commitment to classical Emergency Management principles, coupled with his completion of the FEMA National Emergency Management Advanced Academy, highlights his unmatched expertise in customizing solutions for educational environments. His relentless drive and relentless pursuit of excellence make him an indispensable asset, setting a standard of excellence for his peers. 

What do you enjoy the most about your position?
Eric: Coordinating with my co-workers. They make this job great to come to work every day. 

What are you known for the most in your office?
Eric: Comic relief. 

What energizes or motivates you in the office?
Eric: Again, my colleagues make this job a great place to be. That, and lots of coffee. 

Where’s your favorite place to grab lunch?
Eric: North Street Curry House. 

What’s your favorite hobby or activity outside of the workplace?
Eric: I’m a Dad. I don’t get to have hobbies. Momma and kiddo just tell me where they need to go, and I drive them there.
