This month, we are excited to recognize Radha Sreedharane, Programmer Analyst II in Mobile Web Systems, as Texas State’s January 2025 Employee of the Month!
Radha has been an essential part of the Technology Resources team for many years, bringing her expertise as a .NET developer to every project. Her colleagues describe her as highly skilled, exceptionally responsive, and dedicated to excellence. She is known for her ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining clear communication with teams and clients. Her problem-solving skills set her apart, as she consistently investigates and troubleshoots complex application issues, even when documentation is limited.

For Radha, one of the best parts of working at Texas State is the university’s commitment to technology and innovation. “Texas State actively embraces cutting-edge technology, constantly looking for ways to integrate new advancements into daily operations,” she shares. But it’s not just the technology that keeps her motivated—it’s also the people. “Supportive and motivating leadership helps us come together as a team,” she adds.
Words of Wisdom for New Employees
For those just starting at Texas State, Radha emphasizes the university’s welcoming culture and opportunities for growth. She describes Texas State as a place with “so much scope to work on newer technologies and products” while maintaining “a very personable culture” where “everyone is kind and thoughtful.”
Her advice? “Asking the right questions, even basic ones, to get a better understanding of the work and timely communications goes a long way.” She encourages new employees to “be proactive and seek opportunities to contribute knowledge and skills.” Given the fast-paced nature of the university, she stresses the importance of “being prepared to adapt to new situations and evolving priorities.”
Beyond the Office
When she’s not solving complex software issues, Radha enjoys learning history, experimenting with new recipes, gardening, and reading. Whether she’s diving into a good book or growing something new in her garden, she brings the same curiosity and dedication to her hobbies as she does to her work.
