Walktober Challenge Recap

This October, Bobcat employees took steps toward better health with our first-ever Walktober challenge. In fact, they took a collective 68,009,792 steps – that’s more than 30,000 miles or approximately 1.2 trips around the world!

Walktober is a 31-day walking challenge that takes users through a virtual tour of colorful fall landscapes as they collect digital leaves based on the number of steps they’ve taken. The interactive web or mobile app features a message board, inspiring articles, weekly mini-challenges, healthy recipes, achievement badges, and more.

Employees had the option to participate individually or on a team. This year, 272 employees joined and formed 48 teams. Together they collected over 5,400 leaves and earned more than 82,000 badges.
